In addition, by contracting private communication services provided by cellular companies, corporate applications can be integrated with WAP and Intranets of national and international reach: the enterprise anywhere and anytime.
SMS & 2-way Messaging are the analog to e-mail in the world of Mobile Internet. In general its use resides in systems that send messages and alerts with customized information in a massive way, arriving at the end user on his or her cellular telephone. 2-way Messaging is a SMS complement, where besides to receiving the message, the user counts with the possibility of answering with predetermined options.
Handheld applications, mainly implemented in Palm and Pocket PC operating systems, provides the possibility of surfing the Internet and Intranets with HTML and WAP browsers. But in addition, handheld are intelligent devices with both process and database storage capacity, thus arises the possibility of deploying corporate and end-user systems, useful because of the mobility they allow to their users.
